I can't believe how quiet that machine operates! The only substantial noise is the scrap metal falling into the truck! Cool equipment!

has all been removed. All deep foundation work is done, and the new steel support columns and braces are in.

Once the decking is on, and the floor gets poured above, I can backfill the exterior. As soon as the decking is on above, that lift will disappear and I can finish digging in the pipes in the basement.

200,000 lbs fully assembled. The hydraulic tank capacity is 104 gallons in the tank. Adding all the booms, cylinders, and lines brings the oil capacity up to 350 gallons.

Sounds like if that thing blew a hose or dumped all that fluid it would be an environmental disaster. Look out super fund here we come.

One piece at a time!
 
It takes some doing. Attachment gets hauled by the clam truck. Counterweights on the lowboy trailer. The boom folds up and has a cradle that sits on a flatbed trailer. The machine gets hauled by a beam deck trailer.

I’m thinking we may buy our own beam deck trailer. This demo excavator makes machine #4 we have to hire another company to move when needed.
