Saw I have, which has not been going for a few years, I got going. Will see how it works tomorrow in the wood. It’s an XP 88, I think. Heavy, hard to pull over, but starts good. Had trouble before with it not idling. That’s why it got put away. And it’s very heavy to use. Ya don’t go into woods and do any limbing with it. Or I don’t any way. Blocking saw so they say. 6 hp I was told. Traded a lawn tractor for it a number of years ago. Son and I thought, we just gotta have that !!!

288XP maybe? Big old thing, be 88cc 6.1hp. Biggest saw I had was a 372XP, 71cc, 5.5hp. Sold it, too heavy for what I do. I’d rather a small light saw, but the 372 was great for bucking.

I would spend a few minutes squirting carb cleaner through carb before getting the tools out. So has been my experience, you obviously have cleaned the air filter.
