First Mow of the year

Fired up the John Deere LX 255 and ran over the front and back yard. Left the deck raised because the grass was getting pretty tall. Need to do something about all of the moss. Its been 3-4 years IIRC since I last thatched. The lower yard is still very wet.

The green really looks good Cjet, right now were getting snow so far we have gotten 3-4 inches but it suppose to snow all afternoon evening and the night there saying another 3-6 inches sure hope that's wrong but it doesn't look like it right now

Our grass stays green most of the year. Only starts getting brown in the late dry summer months when we have a drought. We only had the one snowfall in early Feb this year. I'm starting all of the spring chores getting the pastures ready for the cows and cleaning up the yard.

Nice looking yard, CJet! I wouldn't doubt that soon as we get some sunshine the "grass" here will take off with the light rains we have been having most every day. Our yard is hay grass and weeds, not real grass!

Our grass is running about 60% moss.
