First ploughing with Wheel Horse 160

We had a beautiful day here .....so..... after church I got the Wheel Horse C160 and a Brinly plough out of the shed and turned over some furrows in my garden spot. This was the first time I have used the C160 for this since I got it 15 months ago. It did quite well, although my Speedex 1630 is still my favorite for this job.
Glad to finally get that done!
Also used the WH aerator on the back yard while I was at it. Just about ran out of daylight before I got everything put back in the shed.

Man, you be giving me the itch for spring time! And winter hasn't set in yet here in eastern Pennsylvania. Without frost I could almost do some plowing.... It would be like mudbogging with all our rain the last couple weeks.
 
All last Fall and into this winter it has been so wet....... even when we have not had any rain for awhile, it has not been able to dry out much...... until now! The ground was perfect for digging today.
One of the things I love about this area is that it rarely freezes for an extended length of time, and days like today are not uncommon.

NW Arkansas. It can do just about anything here. It can be mild, warm, freezing, icy, snow, rain..... all within 24 hrs! It can get -10F in the winter, 100F+ in the summer.
Several years ago, we had 2 feet of snow within 8-10 hours...... that was fun. Back then I managed that with a Craftsman GT 6000 and a front blade. Still have that blade, but sold that GT last summer. I have a front blade for the Wheel Horse that hasn’t been needed so far. Although I have a lot of fun when it does snow, I’d be OK if I never needed to use it!

That's about the same weather as here.
 
Nice tractors looks like the WH did a very good job my fall up here in MN wasso wet also when I did get to plow it was really too wet yet but I got it done I'm thinking in the spring I'll re-plow we'll see

I just happened to post the two Speedex pics that show the furrowers on the tool bar. Here is the same Speedex before I painted it, with the turning plough on the tool bar.

I still need to get some hilling discs to use on that tool bar. Currently, I do the hilling with a hoe..... wayyy too much work!

I want some hilling discs for my tool bar also. Post pictures of your hillers and where you got them. Your tool bar looks kind of like mine. The hoe is working me too much. We need a solution.

I really like the look of your Wheel Horse. Would love to find a grille/hood to Frankenstein the Honda.
