Ford in trouble. Ideas ?

Was cutting the grass and all of a sudden started to growl in forward position and not move. Reverse worked fine. Backed it to the garage. Checked hydro was ok, but a wee bit low. Plastic tank seemed hot. So I added a little oil and let it idle. It then started working again. Must have cooled down I figured. So cut for about 10 minutes and did it again. Still worked fine in reverse. So. I’ll have to get it up on the hoist and see if she’s plugged up in the hydro fins, some day. Strange why work in reverse thou. Could be the end of the line for the tractor.
Anybody know any thing about those types hydros, give me your ideas. Thanks.

Could be a hose coming apart inside block fluid flow in forward. Not very savvy on these.

More troubles today. Case 224 deck decided that, that was enough. Poor old deck is rusty rusty. One of the spindles tried to come out of the deck.

So I had enough. Two tractors down. I sold all the Beepin old garden tractors and bought this !!!!!

No no, not the tar and feathers. Hehe. Ok ok. Just a teasin ya’s. But the Case did stop working. And this 1025R John Deere on my trailer is my Blonde sister in law and husbands tractor. We are just transporting it from my sons place to their place. I just couldn’t resist doing a little funny. Hehe.
But don’t think that I have not thought about selling every thing and getting something like that. Hehe.
