Have you ever noticed that some weeds have the uncanny ability to resemble whatever veggie they are growing in? I have missed seeing pig weed in both Swiss Chard and potatoes until it towered over both of them, lol.

Wow Nora I’ll tell you a story you will find hard to believe. We buy most seeds from Burpee other than the ones we save or heirloom seeds. My wife planted two packs of Okra two years ago. Both packets were the same, planted at the same time, and grew evenly. About the time the one row started to mature with blooms the other had none. The blooms started to form pods then later a different bloom formed on the other row. Once they matured instead of having a pod they had a perfect hairy ball. This ball got the size of a golf ball with spikes all over it. The other row grew normally with a good harvest of Okra. We never did find out why.

Got our second seed mag. yesterday. Jung Seeds this time. Forget what the first one was.
