John Deere AN project

Great sounding A, takes me back to growing up on the farm.The guy my dad worked for had a 40 head dairy farm and all they used were three JD two cylinders, a styled A, a 620 and a 630. The 620 was the best out of all three, that baby would bark running a chopper or a baler.
Fired up the A today and ran it around the farm for a couple of hours. That got it warmed up good so I could tune the carb some. Its running pretty good, but I do see some smoke now and then when I load it a little. I Hooked up the harrow to try out the hitch/lift and scratched up some ground. The lift holds well and handles the harrow easily.
What a fun project! I really enjoy seeing how one of the old Deere worked!

Now I need to finish the radiator recore for my 1946 A so I can double my fun. I guess I better start another thread.
