Looking at a Yanmar YM1510 D

While it won't be easy I believe you'll find used gears out there somewhere. You might end up knowing a lot junkyards.. ;)
How's your patience..?

Dug into the front axle some more. Found another gear with a chunk out of one tooth along with a rough shaft and trashed needle bearing. We were able to tighten up the nut for the lower axle shaft bearings about a turn. That took out all of the play and it rolls over nice and smooth. We have decided for now to pull the some of the gears out of the knuckle section and make a bushing to replace one where the bearing run. This will give us a 2WD tractor for now, but should keep it from destroying anymore parts. We figure we can add some wheel weights and rear ballast for running the loader. It will mostly be used for loading bark/mulch in the back of the Gator so it won't be doing much heavy lifting. In the meantime we will continue a parts search, but that doesn't look to promising.

Dad is just about done making spacers to replace the gears in the right side. Now its on to the left side. When we dropped it off it was full of water. I see a few chips out of one gear, but doesn't look as bad as the other side. We will know more when we get the rest of it pulled apart.
