Headed out tomorrow morning to pick up a " 1952 " D-14, so the seller says. We know that the D-14 line came to be in 1957 so we think he was mistaken when he advertised it as a 52. He has owned it for over 30 years. It has a wide front and a front loader. Engine might be stuck as we do not know yet. My son went down yesterday ( 2 hours one way ) away. Paid for it got the manuals and repair book on it. Has oil which looks a bit compromised with water but has nice antifreeze in the radiator. He was not able to find a way to try to roll it over then. He is pretty optimistic about it. We will know more tomorrow morning when we get there to load it on the trailer. Going to take along some Marvel Mystery Oil to put in the cylinders if needed. Also taking a Battery to try to get it to roll over. Owner said it had a hand crank but it has been lost or misplaced. It rolls so we will be able to winch it up on the trailer one way or another. Getting the bucket up off the ground may be a chore but we can get it somehow. Tire are holding air. Will get some pics posted after we get it up on the trailer.
Son needs it at his girlfriends place in the winter to jeep the long drive they have open to get in and out during the winter. Having a bucket will also help with their mini farm they have.
