Its hard to believe its only 2.4 hp. its the size of Kohler K241 I may just show it as an oddity at the shows. It will fit right in with the GTs I own.
Very cool engine! Some of the early dirt bikes/etc from across the pond had a different kind of choke called a "tickler". You pushed down a pin that pushed the carb float down to flood the venturi. Yes, terminology over there is interesting.
the early Victa lawn mowers ( toe cutters ) had the float plunger pin , the press down pin was brass still got a carbie or 2 around the folks place hidden in the junk
J.A.P bought into Villiers late in the system i think and were very similar to Villiers , had them here in Australia too , they were on pumps ect , small HP but good torque for the size of them
