Question about AGM batteries in GT's

Problem is the boats tend to have a lot of systems on them. Even to include hardwird carbon monoxide detectors. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Most boats I work on, whether trailered in, or from the storage facility have batteries that are usually in need of a charge. Even customers with boats that have shorepower/and or with chargers wired to the batteries.

Also a lot of customers would love to keep their boats plugged in at the boat storage. But insurance precludes them from allowing that. Possibility of fires and such. Also they go 3 high in the storage building. So only people with boats on floor stands can hook up chargers. They must be unplugged by end of day.

I too have had good luck with them and installed one in my plane. Never had to touch it again. On the other hand if you are trying to recharge them at a high rate for extend periods they will not take that.
