I got them at Wal-mart 5 years ago. Seems they changed the stile up some. Pretty sure the 4" will work.

Surging indicates it's running lean, i.e. clogged fuel port or an air leak. I would clean carb(s) and see if they helps. If it still surges, then check all gaskets and intake.

Air leak will cause surging, I had one that the carb butterfly valve bushings were worn causing my problem. That was a bugger to find.

If you can't fix it right away & need to use it a little choke helps.
