I do not see a lot of collectible gts on Ebay or Craigslist anymore, I know my taste in them gravitates toward the unusual rather than J. Deere and such, has anyone else noticed that also ? not that I have room for more anyway but it sure gets my heart pumping when i see something cool.

Haven’t been on much myself started to feel addicted to it
so I decided to just stay away for awhile not that I have any space anyway but it’s still fun to look.

Hi Hankg I've noticed that also when I started with GT's a few years back I started with the Sears Suburbans there seened to always be some listed on CL now not all the many, likewise I don't look at the John Deere's just totally over priced for me and I've gotten into the Power Kings so that is where my interest is now

Never have looked on ebay. Every thing I find o there is to expensive to ship. Craigslist runs in spurts. I hear many have gone to face book. It usualy picks up some in the spring when people drag them out of storage anf find they no longer function. Have to clear the space for the new one. Don

Prices have been a little high lately. Except when I want to sell something and then I can't seem to get anything for it lol I don't need anymore projects so I have been trying to ignore for sale sights, but when I do browse one, I just MarketPlace on Facebook. I've had a lot of luck with that and have seen some neat machines.

I think there is more tractors available now than there ever has been.... but you have to go on facebook, there is literally dozens of GT related fb sites and they all have tractors for sale... in fact many of the so called Rare and Collectable tractors are quite commonly available on fb.

I think the only real good stuff is going to be from private collectors on these forums and the facebook groups , ebay is going to take 20% or higher of your sale when you sell something so alot of people no longer sell there , I still sell parts there but its a major headache , on smaller items they will make more profit in fees than I do selling my own stuff !

Craigslist seems to have more crazy people than normal people on there so I try and stay away as much as I can

I think we need to also factor in these machines are now getting to the point where original 1 owner "barn finds" will be getting fewer and fewer as well which makes finding something unique even harder .

I think today with all the free advertising people can let them sit there forever and hope some dumb a$$ comes along. Sort of like throwing darts, eventually you'll get a bulls eye. When you had to pay for advertising it made you want to move it quicker..!

Don't and won't do FB. Never could find a darn thing on there. Only answer family messages and that's it. I do most of mine looking on CL between two major listing areas. Picked up a lot and sold a lot. Yep had a couple problems but in the end was my own fault for not looking close enough due to raining, time restraints for another stop, etc. eBay for parts isn't to bad if you watch what your doing. Lot better than going to the dealer. Problem is with CL is mostly Green and cheapy Yellows.
