All done. Been at it for the last two days. Used a air operated needle descaler on the rusty spots. Worked great. Primed some spots, coat of black over the primed places and on some edges. Then today gave it the complete final coat.

I hope to undercoat it Ryan. Hopefully after all the work, new tires, new brakes, trailer and wheels painted and all new wiring last year, that it will last another 6 years or so. Probably will need another repaint in three years.

Noel

Mine need painted too. Put several new LED rubber mounted lights in when I bought it a couple years ago. Wiring is good so that is done. Need to start looking for liquid masking so I can cover the lights, etc. with that. Much easier than removing the lights or trying to tape them up.

Made the trailer look brand new, Noel! Those descalers are great cleaning tools! They work great for cleaning slag from stick welds too. Maybe someday I will have a trailer!

Looks like a new one now Noel great job. This project is making me feel like I've neglected mine. Can you show a pic of your descaler I'm not sure I know what your using. I see some white pin striping on those fenders

This is the descaler, Sawdust. It’s air operated. 55 bucks at princess auto here in Canada. The needles randomly come out. You hold it against your work and go at it. It works great. You can all most do a straight line with it. I went around the bottom of the Load Trailer decal on the side of the trailer. Hardly touched the decal.
Best to use ear plugs while using it.

Noel

I got a little carryed away and painted the clips and jack handle. Chrome paint. Work great. Covers very well and drys in minutes. Rattle can.
