Well. Case 224&446

Glad you got it figured out. Sorry I was late getting in but I had to go against the factory belt on my Swisher 60” trail mower. The darn thing would throw the belt every time after I got comfortable in the seat. It would run all day standing there looking at it with the blades engaged which was not fun just too much blade spinning on that thing. I also had to finagle with the idler arm springs too. Springs are not easy to work with. Glad you gave us a coarse on “Springology”.

That's the same blower that my Kubota uses. This one I think is 48". After upping the horsepower from 12 to 20 one belt wasn't enough so I doubled them and life has been good. I'm pretty sure I'm still using just one spring and (I'm jinxing myself here) I have never had belt problems. Getting 2 belts in there was a fug snit.

Noel, I just found this site after I posted one. I had a problem with throwing belts on my Ingersoll last year. I reduced the belt length by one size. No more trouble.

I think I got mine fixed. I put the right length belts on. Ones that were on them were about 2” too long. But no snow to give them a good test. Which is a good thing. I guess. Hehe.
