Your right Kenny. I was thinking connector size. That tool does not using the insulated type wire connectors. Looks like the bare connectors with heat shrink. I normally use the insulated connectors with a bit of silicone to prevent corrosion. Going to check it out as I have a 25% off coupon.
I strip the plastic crap off the connectors and use heat shrink over them.

I got out this morning and made some progress. Got new hinge point brackets made and new latch brackets. All clamped up and ready to weld where needed.

I came in to check wind speed before I start welding.
 
I applied welds to all that needed it. Got the chains figured out to hold the tailgate horizontal. Now you can have the tailgate closed, flipped down or chained out for longer things!

Probably all I will do to it right now!
 
I keep looking for a small trailer like that. Small enough to take into the fields with the Gravely, and heavy enough to actually haul something.
