Well , the 446 Case is broke again.

Hopefully. If that has hydraulic lift, I'd be interested in the valve/lift handle mechanism.

Don’t know if it has hydraulic lift or not Kenny. I’ve only seen the tractor from a distance. It is the same colour as yours.

Now this buying thing may or may not happen. I haven’t seen the fella in quite a while. Could be already gone, but I will surely keep you in mind Kenny.

So snuck up on the Case 446 yesterday, and it started after 2 seconds of winding over with no choke or throttle on. So that pretty good. Charge the battery, again, last Saturday and it had no trouble winding for the 2 seconds to get it started. So maybe it might be ok for summer use. Maybe. Any way, lookin for rear wheels now so I can install the rear ag tires, which ever size I use.

I know a fella here with a case 222 that he may sell. Has a bad pump. So I’m lookin for a engine bonnet for mine and maybe I could use the 222 bonnet on mine. His tractor has a tiller and mower deck. So might be able to fit those on my 446 ????

Too bad you are so far away, I have a full set of sheet metal for the red Ingersol version of a 446.

It probably isn't, but may have been converted. I'll just hope as I haven't seen one of those valves anywhere I have looked.

Hehe, Gary. Gunna try a get the thrower off the Case soon and see if I can use it to pull a yard trailer. Was hoping to use it to do garden work. But not gunna happen for now. Need a sleeve hitch for it to hook my tools to. Have Plow, tandem disks, cultivator and potatoe hiller. And would like to hook a wood splitter to it some day.

Are there many Case tractors and attachments in your area, or will it be a hunt to find what you need? I guess you really have the attachments you mainly need a sleeve hitch, I never had a sleeve hitch or any attachments other then mowing decks and snowblower, I did have a dozer.plow blade with the first one it went with that tractor

Case started right up yesterday. Was rattling the keys as I walk toward it, so I didn’t sneak up on it.
Any way. I goin to try and get the snow thrower off it. One thing to do was to get the belt off. Now this tractor has been modified to an electric pto clutch. Not a manual clutch. I don’t even know how a manual one works. Never seen one. Only thing left for the manual clutch is the engagement handle. Any way, to get the belt out. I had to loosen two bolts that hold the oil cooler. That way I can tip it and slide the belt around. Next, is remove a homemade bracket to keep the electric clutch from spining when engaged. Two bolts to remove that. The belt will now come out when cooler is tipped. But, the had to disconnect the pto wire, because it was routed thru the belt. Any way. Belt is out. The two bolts I loosened and the two I removed, must have at one time held the manual clutch system. May try and remove the thrower today.

Woo hoo, it started and I got it outside and it didn’t mind the bright light in the sky. Hehe.
Got the thrower off, hooked up a trailer and put it to work for a few minutes and I drove it around a little bit.

When I finished, I put her away in her spot. Had to adjust the brake and will again soon. I had installed my homemade brake pads quite a while ago. I had disconnected the into neutral switch connected to the brake. So now I can feather the brake to keep it from rolling on hills and things, while still in forward or reverse.

Very cool that you don't have to sneak up on it any more to get it to start, Noel---LOL! I need to start bringing home some pallets from work before they become a expensive item! I'm hoping to build some pallet forks for the MF1450 3 point hitch.

I spy another Rambler out in the trees there! Was that a parts car for the one you drive? You guys need to get a can crusher! Those non crushed cans take up a lot of space! I get around 50 bucks a year from my crushed silver cans. I'll save up 4 or 5 30 gallon bags of crushed and take them in.

Nice pics!

Hehe, sneakin up on it days are over , hopefully. Ya spare parts car Doug. 6 cylinder flat head, auto. Floors all
gone.

You been driving the 55 yet.

Not allowed to crush the cans here !
