What did you do with your tractor today?

I left my MF10 in my backyard on the hill for last month and half. I went to go move it closer to the house and it wont start. This is an early 10 with mag and points. There was no spark and when i looked at key switch there is a mouse house behind the dash and a couple of wires off the switch. I put them back on and one was not correct and soon it was glowing red undid the battery which stopped the short. I was surprised the mouse house didn't go up in flames. I push tractor to get it lined up down hill and rode it down the hill with out tipping it over or hitting any thing. The solenoid wont work correctly now, probably from the short. I have one on order, once it arrives I will dive into more if no spark.

Bet that was a fun ride, Ted! Seems like you said you left it up on the hill because with rain you had been getting it would had been a slide down the hill rather than drive? Them damm mice are awful! Glad we don't have much of a mouse problem here---knock on wood!

My tractors stayed in the shed as I was busy with other projects. Carolyn had her Bolen 775 out to pull the yard cart around picking up various stuff to go to the burn pile. The she had the Cub 1018 out and mowed for a little over an hour. I went into recovery mode right after dinner (lunch to some) as my right knee did not like bending or as much pressure as I put on it getting that building jacked and blocked up. Will take the brace off in a bit and see how much it swells up. A good rubdown with Icy-Hot hopefully will calm it down for tonight.

Dinner. Lunch to some. Dinner is noon time to me. But I still get caught calling it lunch some times. ;)
Busy day Roger. Hope the icy hot helps. :)
