What do yas think ?

The engine in the 1210 is the LEK802D. There is a nearly identical twin also made as the LEK802C. IF parts are hard to find, shop looking for the "C" version. D was in the Ford machines and the C in the Shibaura (SBA) machines.

Noel, did the snowblower have any markings? If we have the tractor covered, it would be great to know the snowblower.
Have not seen any thing yet. But have not had a real hood look yet. But I don’t I think it’s a ford blower. Pto shaft goes to the bottom of the blower. Then a number of cogs are there all run by chain, up to the impeller, gear box then turns the auger. Pto runs clockwise on the tractor, but the blower runs counter clockwise. So it’s a strange set up. I’ll get pictures of it with in the next few days. Looking at it from the back, normally the drive chain is on the right side for the auger. This is on the left.
Any way. Need pictures to explain better.

You guys will like it .
You can run #2 fuel oil in it but you're going to find that the little amount of fuel it uses you may just run the real stuff and feel better about it...

And also I don't believe heating oil is treated as in for gelling in extreme cold weather so that may leave you out.
I was thinking the same Bill. Just me being cheap. Hehe. And yes winter diesel fuel would be better. I bought 20 litres of diesel fuel today. It was $48.00. If I could use furnace oil, the same amount of furnace oil would have cost $34.00

Maybe you should check with the distributor. In my area the heating oil is just off road diesel. It has a red dye added to show road taxes weren't added. The DOT goes to some of the big livestock auctions and takes fuel samples to catch the ones using it in their trucks.

So son is buying this tractor. We feel it’s a reasonable tractor. We know it runs. And we saw it blowing snow.

So, yas pays yer money and take yers chances. Don’t matter what you buy.

Can a person burn furnace oil in it instead of diesel fuel ? Self serve furnace oil $1.71 per litre and diesel $2.34 per litre.

Anybody have a operator manual for it.
Ford 1210.

Noel.
We are opposite here. We buy Farm diesel for our heating because its cheaper than heating oil. We installed a hand pump in the tank so we can fill tractors in case anyone asks any questions.

A few pictures of the snowblower. Still don’t see any rating plate on it. But some snow on it from us playing with it.

That is for the winch. I would say. But I’ll look better Saturday.
Kind of a strange winch, you can, I’m guessing, move the handle there and use the winch as a air compressor, without the spool moving.

No markings on the snowblower that I can see.
That marking is for the winch/air compressor Brett.

You guys with the big manuals should look at an app called Dropbox. You can upload the file to dropbox and than share with anybody you like by sending them the link to the file. All you need is their email.
I have been using for years on both Windows and Linux.
