Its so dry around here the grass is a sickly green/brown, I haven't mowed the lawn for 4 weeks and other areas for 2.5 weeks, the Case irritated me enough that I put it in the storage area for now so after cleaning up a bit in the shop I got to looking at the Country Squire, it didn't have a choke control that you could use from the seat so you had to be standing along side of the engine to choke and start it had been thinking about making a choke rod for it off and on so I finally got busy and made one up and it works good can operate the choke either way now, painted it yesterday and installed it this afternoon looks good

Finding things to do when you have down time is good otherwise you'd maybe never do them ;).
We ( I ) been mowing the lawn every 5 days since mid April. Not because I really want to but need to...( could 6 days some weeks).

The last time we had more than 1" ofrain was the first week of April and we may have had 2 1" rains since the last 6/7 weeks its been 3 1/5" and a couple of 1 th and 2 ths oh and one 1/4", heck even washing my pickup doesn't help this year

We were real wet all of May, couple weeks of Hot weather first of June, now wet again. Rain clears out before the 4th though. Probably very humid after that!

Our yard is getting to the point that it crunches when you walk on it. Big cracks in the soil. We got a 1/10th of an inch yesterday to settle the dust so I mowed down the long stragglers in the yard. I'm hoping (praying) for rain tonight but the chances aren't great.

We’ve been getting rain at least once or more a week. Grass is not rowing quite as fast now. But still cut once a week or so. Rain tomorrow and Wednesday. Hoping to get something done to the Case on those days. Today is hilling potato day. And other outdoor tractor adventures.

Mowed a week ago, grass is nice & green but not tall enough to mow for this time of year. Got some rain and couple showers. chance of more off and on the rest of the week. May not mow this week as this time of year I usually let it get up to about 4" before we mow. Can usually keep green lawn that way while the rest in this area that think they have to mow just because, have brown lawn and complain about it.

Height adjustment is full variable on my two cubs. I try to math them with what the notched settings re on Carolyn's 1810 Cub. Some how/time I got the deck with the good blades under the IH 1650 and the older but same deck with OEM blades under the Cub 1512. Need to get them switched back. Easy enough to do with a small floor jack under the front.
