Monsoons are in full strength down here!
Those are probably the ones to hit us tomorrow. Local news was talking about frog drowners hitting us tomorrow. Localized flooding risk.

It was so hot me and my son played with water balloons. Then we went and did our animal chores outside. Took 30 minutes and we were dry. I love it though. 97 on the thermometer in the sun and it felt so good!

Garden just dried up enough to work the open areas that are turning green. Run over it and around the veining stuff, then use the gas weeder to get in the tight areas. Timer to break the preen pail out again. Two moles runs showed up yesterday morning. Set two traps out but don't have a lot of luck catching those critters.

Changed my mind. Why walk when I can ride. Rolled the RAM out of it's parking spot where it has been since last spring. Found on ebay and oil fill plug with dip rod so put that in. Had gas in the tank, so give it a try. Fired first pull but I didn't get the choke opened up in time so had to pull it again. Let it run a bit to warm up, shut the fuel off and a min. later killed it. Got the cultivator with the DB sweeps mounted and it is ready to go. Cup of coffee, my sunshine hat and ready to hit the garden.

We just had a pretty nasty thunderstorm roll in. It's calmed now. Wind ripped the tarp off the chicken pen, blew all the chairs off the porch, and it rained hard for 30 minutes. Lost power and cable. Supposed to be off and on all evening

Grass needs mowing here. Will get it in a couple day but will be cut high, like 3+". Been here before and would like it green most of the summer. 87°
f 71& Humidity and only an occasional leaf shaking a bit. Partly clody to overcast is saving us from the high temp & humidity. Crops sure love it though.

I mowed yesterday set the deck at 3" we had a 1/2" a couple of days ago but its just about used up. I hadn't mowed for 3+ weeks and was surprised to see thistles 1.5 tp 2" high mowed then off will give them a drink of the good stuff later to day its 81*F 50% humidity and very light winds right now was watching the forcast and they were saying we could get 2" of rain like Sunday but just looked and it been changed to a trace now
