I would think they would have a larger outer bearing to handle the load. I just looked back at some pics when we bought this. It was 2016 and we used it for the first time in 2017. It held up for 8 years. Should probably pull the wobble box off ever 2-3 years and inspect it or just replace bearings as a preventative measure.
I was able to heat and drive the shaft repair bushing on the spindle today. Left it a little long and will grind it down to finished length. Had to polish it up with some emery cloth to get the bearing to fit again. It appears to be centered on the shaft which was a concern but I hope it works out. If not I think you can still buy a replacement wobble box at $1500 to $2400 depending on what all is needed. I'll get it ground and cleaned up this weekend and maybe even get it assembled if all goes well.

You're not out much to just bolt it back together and let 'er buck, CJet! It will probably hold up just fine.

Are you going to use some loctite blue on it or just depend on the cotter key
Haven't decided yet. The new castle nut is a little taller than the old nut but rather than cutting it down I am thinking of cutting the notches deeper for the cotter pin but gain more threads to hold on to.
This is where I got to so far today. Need to notch the new taller castle nut deeper for the cotter pin to fit but then its time to assemble. I put a fare amount of pressure on the nut and it didn't strip out. The bearings for the other side still appear to be good so I will reuse those. I have one more bearing to replace that the yoke pivots on(pics on that later) and then its final assembly. Might get some rattle can to shoot on it.

Here is the yoke that does the wobbling. The lower pivot bearing had failed on this so I had to deburr some chew marks where it goes. This bearing has a locking collar that clamps down on the pivot pin/plate that was also chewed on and needed deburring. We will see how far I get tomorrow.

Made some more progress today. Loaded everything up with grease and assembled both sides on the spindles. Need to get another cotter pin the right size before installing the last cap. Then its just to bolt down the pivot shaft and set the locking collar and it should be ready to install on the machine.
