I would think they would have a larger outer bearing to handle the load. I just looked back at some pics when we bought this. It was 2016 and we used it for the first time in 2017. It held up for 8 years. Should probably pull the wobble box off ever 2-3 years and inspect it or just replace bearings as a preventative measure. To my mind, it's amazing that those wobble joints can stay together at all due to the amazingly fast rate they run!
You're not out much to just bolt it back together and let 'er buck, CJet! It will probably hold up just fine.Trimmed the bushing down and now in the cleanup process. You can see how much damage to the threads this has but the new nut seems to hold well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Are you going to use some loctite blue on it or just depend on the cotter keyTrimmed the bushing down and now in the cleanup process. You can see how much damage to the threads this has but the new nut seems to hold well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Haven't decided yet. The new castle nut is a little taller than the old nut but rather than cutting it down I am thinking of cutting the notches deeper for the cotter pin but gain more threads to hold on to.Are you going to use some loctite blue on it or just depend on the cotter key
