Allis deck on to the Country Squire

That really turned out nice Gary. Just caught up with this thread.
Took me awhile to get used to those left hand discharge decks but they sure mow nice.
Same here Chris I have to cut counter clockwise around the house because of flower beds. Occasionally on the Simplicity I add a little fresh green mulch without thinking

Very nice job Gary everything worked out great. Maybe if you have any problems powering this you might experiment with some different blades. Some of these had the gull wing blades and it took a lot of force to through the grass out along with air created under the deck. I believe your going to be real happy with this set up you built.

I really like that tractor and use it regularly I mowed with the 42" Allis and it did a very good job but it is badly rusted out so I found a Simplicity 42 (which is the same) and installed it but never got a chance to mow with it as t was later in the fall and the grass stopped growing, it;ll get use this spring and summer. Right now the tractor is on snow pushing duty and its had a few work outs this winter

Hi Jim it handles it good really don't have a power problem its just that a 48" deck would be at the very limit besides if I went to a larger deck I'd be done quick and not get to enjoy the seat time o_O

Yep it takes a couple of rounds to get into the LH discharge groove and yes the Simplicity deck mow nice and they are some tough decks

Took me quite a few rounds to get use to the Case mowing deck that throws out the left side. I was going around in circles first few times. Hehe.
But the Case deck does cut nice.

Noel

I guess I am about the only one who was use to the left discharge deck as a Simplicity was my first GT. I bought a 48" deck and my son put it on my 7112 when his Grasshopper was down. The only right hand discharge in my ZT and it is set up for mulch.

I have a couple NOS deflector chutes for simplicity decks. They were the first thing you took off!!
I have a good 48" simplicity deck and nothing to put it on. I'll have to find an old Economy, .Jim Dandy, Country Squire to put it on.
Then have Gary help me to install it. ;)

I don’t remember ever seeing them on a deck.

There you go I could do that it actually wasn't all that hard to do, I've never seen a deflector for a Simplicity deck before its the same with the PK deck deflectors most get removed and that's it

I have 3 deflectors but 1 is all bent up. I have 6 decks for 6 tractors the 7th has a cyclebar mower with it.

I have a front axel that is trash as part of it has been cut off the mower mount is in good shape and would just cost shipping.
