That's a good idea if the cabinet is going to stay put, Rog! I have to move mine frequently so the wheels need to hold up. One of my roller cabinets is at least 60 years old and the other is probably about 25.If a guy was thinking, which I was not, when I got my base unit I would have set it up on blocks with the wheels on. Be just as stable and saved the wheels from flat spots.
You might remember this Rog, year or 2 ago I made a board with a bunch of screws stuck in it to hold the plastic boxes with hangers.Your right if you need to move them around. Moving the once in a while should prevent the wheels from getting flat spots but don't know what it does for the wheel venter from the axle. My box hasn't been move since I put it there. Trying to decide on a place to put all the plastic cases all the cotter keys, R clips, "O" rings, etc., etc. are in stacked one on top of the other in the top compartment.
Dang sounds like a close call, Daniel! Good thinking about grandkids. I don't ever think about things like that, no grandkids and no visitors to speak of either. Nothing has been "childproofed" around here. Even in the house!I screwed my 2 larger toolboxes to the wall a couple years ago after I pulled one too many drawers out. I just barely managed to grab it and after a real struggle I finally got it righted. At that point if I'd have lost it, I may have been hurt bad! But what made me screw them to the wall was thinking of the grandkids opening too many with my back turned!!
You and me both, Bill! I had to take junk down to put that up! Now that junk is piled somewhere. The biggest thing I need in my garage is wall space....
Can't find a place to hang anything let alone put something up against a wall..
Wanna sell it
Because we build things, fix things and maintain things, to get work done and have fun too, Rog!Why is it we all have the same problem lack of room. I put a cement floor in a 10x12' area for the tool room and work on smaller stuff in the winter if I had to. Can hardly walk half way through it now.
I think it could have easily killed you Daniel! If you would have laid under it for a long time before someone found you, no telling what might have happened! Thankfully adrenalin kicked in and gave you more strength than you knew you had!Yeah Doug, I'd say I was easily holding back 300 pounds. I couldn't think of letting one hand go so I could push a couple drawers in to lighten the load, so with all I could muster from deep inside myself, I managed to lift one leg to push at least 3 drawers inward, then it made me able to set the toolbox back on all 4. I doubt I could have held it another few seconds! The next day I was sore all over and was so for a few more days yet! If I had lost it I figure I'd have had some broken bones!

The ones I’m seeing are between $5-10, plus shipping. I don’t think that’s too bad. I paid $1 each for the Sears and Texaco cans, and the CD-2 cans were supposed to be $5 each, but I got both of them for $5.How are the ones on eBay priced compared to the ones yo got ?
Usually eBay guys price their stuff on the high side.
