Blowing snow with the PK and the Case snowcaster

So the K 301, 321, and 341 have enough room for the valves to lift without hitting the head Gary ?
Noel your asking the wrong guy I just know what I've heard and seen posted by pullers and I'm not at all into pulling so I don't ask or inquire but I do know that the cams go for a price above OEM 10 - 12 m- 14 and 16 hp ones

Was into the shop this morning finished up blowing the snow away from in front of the doors, used the PK and the snowcaster it went good but man the snow was up to 20" high and after sitting in the cold it was hard and heavy really gave the 14 hp Kohler a work out had to shift down to 1st gear in the front trans and 2nd in the second trans, generally I can go 2nd gear and if heavy 2nd and 2nd . Also had the Wheelhorse out again and cleaned up good real close to the doors, it started right up and ran good. I'm amazed at how easy it cuts thru deep heavy snow but like I posted it sure doesn't have much throw distance. Here's some pictures of the walk behind

Was just out with the PK and Case snowcaster, put an hour on it blowing snow I really like that Case snowcaster it was eating and pitching snow like crazy have about another half hours worth to do tomorrow morning if the sun is shinning so I can see good

Well the sun was shinning but it was -3*F so I waited till this afternoon to finish the job, but it turned into about a hour job instead of a 1/2 hour, the overnite temp of -6*F really firmed up the snow it was no longer fluffy so it was a lot slower going but I got it done will post some pictures, I did the complete area with the PK and snowcaster but about a short 1/2 I had done previously with the F-250 but it was cloudy overcast and this snow was so white I could barely make out where I was when plow so yesterday I seen I had many strips and plow dribbles so I ended up going over it all, this afternoon was fairly nice temp got to 16*F bright and sunny and little to no wind. A week or so there was some discussion as to how deep snow the snowcaster can eat thru well I can say it has no problem with 2 to 2.5 foot deep snow but on the harder plow windrow from plowing with the F-250 I did take 1/2 to 3/4 width of the blower and I had to down shift the PK to low in #1 trans and 2nd in #2 in really deep harder was in 1 & 1

Hey Noel what's going on with no snow at your area
Don’t know Gary. I guess I got to many tractors ready to go at it and scare the snow away. Hehe.
Long range forecast was showing very little snow in the next 14, days, but I see now might be a little on Tuesday. 5 cm and maybe 5 to 10 cm next weekend.
Will see what happens.

Noel
