I don't even take free project ones anymore, or if I do it's just for a few parts and off it goesI keep getting 'freebies'.
Kinda hard to trash a CC 104 with deck & rear bladeI don't even take free project ones anymore, or if I do it's just for a few parts and off it goes
I've learned over my years that freebies can be the most expensive! Most freebies are best suited as parts donors.I keep getting 'freebies'.
Just sold a JD212 for that reason, I take freebies, but 90% of the time I'll sell them cheap if I can't use them but there's some good in them, or scrap if too bad.I've learned over my years that freebies can be the most expensive! Most freebies are best suited as parts donors.
It is, but you can't save everything. I am sure the rear blade is where the value isKinda hard to trash a CC 104 with deck & rear blade
Not if you don't bring them home in the first place. Walking away from a deal that I would have died for 10 years ago is still hard. I don't envy you having to decide what is going to be parted out.Kinda hard to trash a CC 104 with deck & rear blade
I can see it now.... You put it up for sale for a fair price expecting a quick sale......
You get a phone call and he keeps on the phone for an hour, than shows up an hour late, driving a beat up Saturn with no trailer. As the fat, old crippled guy smoking a cigarette stumbles his way over. As he's talking to you giving you his life's sad story and all his failures, as your trying not to puke from him not showering in months he proceeds to offer you a third of your asking price. He pulls out his wallet and realizes he forgot to bring his money with him. As he leaves and tells he will call you when he can get the money together and find his friend that might have a trailer but he has to fix his truck first. But he definitely wants it....
