I think he is referring to a couple of my earlier posts. I had mentioned the tractor was hard to steer in the first post. Then in post #11 I said my cousin had replaced some zerks in the front spindles. At that time he hadn't checked the steering gear yet.

OK, I get it now. I wasn't focused on the steering at all since it was a direct solution, then the radiator was a bigger challenge.

My cousin finished up some work on his JD 40 and installed the hood and grille. I shot a couple pics.
