John Deere X570 Review

It's 27 days later.
DONE IT!
I reserved a 5X9 U-Haul trailer with sides and ramp shortly after making the post above.
There were smaller trailers available but I wanted to just drive the mower up onto the trailer.
The run to fetch & deliver the X570 and return home spanned Nov. 6 to 8 and covered 1,126 miles.

I got great service and pricing from U-Haul. Details upon request.

All I've done is put it into a shed and buy oil and filters.

The sales/service company printed out the maintenance receipts.
Alas, the service guys didn't note the hour meter times. I'm beginning to see a pattern of JD not being helpful.
No mention of changing the hydrostatic fluid was there.

Several tire repairs were mentioned. Should I just get inner tubes for the tires?

The spark plugs were changed May 2021. Again, I wish the service guys had recorded the Hobbs meter times.
I've oil and filters ready. I plan on servicing it before Thanksgiving.

I haven’t updated this for awhile.

Over 400 hours on the clock now.

Broke a deck belt in May. I’ve serviced the transaxle twice, and the engine 6 times (JD kit, all filters and plugs) plugs always look good but they are in the little service kit I get off Amazon.

Not a single mechanical issue. Still on the factory battery. I keep it on a maintainer all winter.

My only complaint….the seat has cracked. Its always kept inside and never left to sit in the sun. A bit disappointed in that. Otherwise all the plastics and metal still shine like new. Deck is pretty scratched up. After a few more seasons I am going to pull the deck, sandblast and have it powered coated.
