It's nice working on those smaller tractors isn't it. I did a 37 JD B General Purpose. Had to pull the head and cylinder off I think. It was so nice being able to work on it standing up. Now that I think of it that was a long time ago.
 
When I was a kid, there was a machinist/inventor who lived in Sandwich, Illinois. He took a two cyl. JD and converted it so that one cylinder compressed the intake charge and fed it to the second cylinder. I never heard if it was a good idea.
