Gotta watch out for those new trailers. They are known to haul in way more stuff than they haul out. Some call this stuff junk, but we refer to it as assets. Looks good.

A friend & I stripped a parts tractor this afternoon:

It's nice working on those smaller tractors isn't it. I did a 37 JD B General Purpose. Had to pull the head and cylinder off I think. It was so nice being able to work on it standing up. Now that I think of it that was a long time ago.

Started on the wheel weights this morning:

Wire brushed them & primed he back side, couple coats of JD yellow (Rustoleum) this afternoon. Paint the front side in a day or two.

Rustoleum is good stuff. About all I use anymore.

When I was a kid, there was a machinist/inventor who lived in Sandwich, Illinois. He took a two cyl. JD and converted it so that one cylinder compressed the intake charge and fed it to the second cylinder. I never heard if it was a good idea.

Sounds like the same idea as a 2 stage compressor. It would be interesting to know how it worked out. A super charged single cylinder.

They weigh 150 lbs each, 50 years ago I would have lifted them by hand. Strange how much heavier they are now than then!
