Before I ended up in the hospital I had started the heater install, was having a time of it now I realize the the head injury had a lot to do with that. Anyway the heater came and I unpacked the box laid out the part to check things out and then started working on the install. Things go a lot slower now but its getting better. I fabricated a mount for the fuel tank. got the tank attached to the mount. Looked for the outlet found nothing (and as CVANS posted the instructions are a bit weak) figured there must be a nipple that you drill and install. looked everywhere could not find a nipple I was looking for a rubber bushing and a push-in nipple. So I PM'd Chris and asked him about, he was kind enough to look in his left over part as he didn't use his tank . He found the nipple and misc parts in a small zip lock bag inside the tank and he sent me a picture, now I remember removing that bag so went looking and there it was and I had looked at that bag at least 3 times but never opened it ande I thought the nipple was a special fastener as its metal with threads not what I was looking for. Had file off a flat area as there is a rib all around the tank drilled a hole now it to figure out how to get the nipple in the tank and in the outlet hole, I got a gas welding rod put the inner O ring on the nipple slide it on the welding wire and it dropped right into the just like was needed put the outer O ring and some pipe sealant on the threads and tightened the retaining nut. Installed the assembly on the B2601 along with the fuel filter and then the fuel pump

I meant to post this first to show what came in the box. I have to say these folks don't mess around I ordered the heater and it wasmhere in less than a week. The box it came in and the parts in the box

Pretty much have the wiring installed, basically all that is required is ti route the 12 V+ wire to the battery and connect the ground to the tractor. Did add 18" to the 12 VDC+ lead could have gotten by with 12" but a bit long is much better than a bit short , have to add about 12" to the ground wire to get it where I want it the rest is just plug in the 3 connectors

Today I worked on the heater mount, do to limited room I'm hanging the heater from the roof of the cab using 4 1/4" rods a base plate under the heater and a reinforcing plate on the roof of the cab. Got the holes drilled in the roof of the cab and temporary attached the rods and base plate then put the heater in place to see how it looked, and is looks good but I'm going to bend the rod to move the heater aft, I got the rods bent but didn't have time to reinstall them, tomorrow hopefully will get them installed and then the heater. With the temp install I sized up the air intake tube and the exhaust tube its going to work good

Went pretty good this afternoon getting the hanging mount rods installed and tightened down and the base plate leveled put the heater in place temp fastened with a couple of nuts connect the main wire harness connector temporary installed the exhaust and the intake tubes. Its working outdid discover I can't raise the armrest on the RH side but that's ok. Its getting closer have to install the fuel line fron the pump to the heater connect the fuel pump wire connector install the thermostat and connect its connector and then connect the 12 VDC wire and the ground wire

Made some good progress today got the intake tube and air filter installed ran it out the side on the RH fender, then shaped and installed the exhaust tube ran it out the rear of the cab. Installed the fuel hose from the pump to the heater, connected the pump electrical connector zip tied the excess wiring in place and out of the way, connected the ground wire. Tomorrow its to install a bracket to hold the temp control and then plug it into the wire harness . Didn't take any pictures as I got distracted with a phone call so will get some tomorrow

Is this something that's mounted permanently or be taken out during off season.?

I mounted mine so it could be taken out but found it makes a nice arm rest so it stays in.
Gary you need to insulate that exhaust pipe were it contacts the cab or it's going to melt it. Yah you can ask me how I know that.

This morning I worked on the mount for the thermostat got it fabricated and mounted connect the wiring, have to zip tie the excess wires to secure them install an insulator tube on the exhaust tube then its to add diesel fuleto the tank connnect the 12 V_ wire and push the on button and see what happens Yesterdays & today's pictures

Its been 23 days since I updated this thread, the day after my last post I attempted to fire up the heater really had a time of it but finallly got it to start and after 3/4 minutes it stopped just like that checked and found the fuse had blown did more investigating and found the fuel pump had failed and that the motherboard was not working as it should. I contacted the service dept had to send them a written report along with pictures. They got back to me in 2 days and said from my description the fuel pump and the mother board had failed, but they didn't either one in stock and for some reason could not ship the pump so they were reimbursing me $20.00 and I should buy one locally and the mother board would be shipped in 15 to 20 days, I ordered the fuel pump from Amazon it also was going to take 16 days. Vevor's service dept did an outstanding job of keeping me informed got an E mail update every other day, finally Wednesday the fuel pump came and on Friday the motherboard. I had removed the heater out of the tractor cab to open it up to replace the motherboard so with it in hand I replaced it and set the heater up on my workbench to try firing it up after a time getting the heater primed it did fire up and put out good heat I ran it about 6/7 minutes then shut it down was feeling pretty good.

Today went into the shop to test run the Vevor heater again pushed the ON button to on and the heater started up after about 4 minutes, this is one of the learning things about this heater things happen in slow motion but it did start and ran good it really puts out heat. This heater does not work on a thermostat but rather it regulates the amount fuel that is pumped into the combustion chamber by varying the fuel pump pumping rate, tried the different setting and they all worked and after a 15 minutes run I pushed the OFF button and it started the shut down process this took about 5 minutes, all in all its working now and boy at max heat setting it really puts out the heat. Monday will work on reinstalling it back in the cab, the last 2 pictures are of the control panel they have a different way of doing things the H-6 is one of the heat settings the highest it goes, this can be changed over to C* if wanted

That’s really good to hear. It’s also nice to hear that the after purchase support is good. I hope you get a lot of trouble free use out of it. Mine fired right up this fall after I figured out the controls again. I still need to relearn setting the temperature.

Good job getting the problems figured out Gary! I'm looking forward to seeing this tractor with heat in the cab being used for blowing Minnesota snow---LOL! It can wait until after Saturday though since we are going to be in Aberdeen! I still want that crap to stay out in yours and Chris' neighborhoods---LOL!
