I assumed you were standing in it and being pulled around. The fish crate, I know you’s will comment about that, is my cover for the engine.

You keep good records, Noel! Even if I had an hour meter on any of the tractors, if I remembered to record the hours, I would forget where I put those notes to keep track! That 446 is a very pretty tractor!Changed the oil in the Case 446. 26.8 hours on the clock since I fixed the hour meter last year, when we got the tractor. So it only threw a little snow last winter, hauled a few loads of wood, pull a few trees and stuff, but mostly out on display in the front yard lookin pretty. Hehe. Any way, engine tag says every 25 hours to change the oil. Same as most small engines, I think. I put her up on blocks, let it warm up for awhile, and put 10w-30 oil in. LGT 165 Ford has an hour meter. So it gets done every 25 hours or so. I’ll do the Case 224 when I cut the grass next and final time for this year. It had a lot of water in the oil when I got it three months or so ago. So I’d like to change it again to flush out any remaining water and dirt.

Would that be the one you pull with. That would be nice. I actually bought this for just the engine for my Bolens H16 that has a seized 16hp Tecumseh. It ran so good and enjoy the tractor so much I decided to leave it as is. I also rebuilt its deck last year.I have one of those horizontal shaft vanguard twins in a generator that puts out 220v/8000w.. can run the farm off it if needed but I usually only use it to do portable welding... been tempted on several occasions to swap it into my Columbia
