What did you do with your tractor today?

Ain't that the truth! EPA has gutted all the cleaners that actually would help get the greasy stuff off.
I’ve never used the Purple Power but heard also it was good. I know I wasn’t real happy about the Gunk especially having to make an extra trip to town to get something better. I remember years ago Gunk made a concentrated by the gallon that you had to dilute it with kerosene. I always just used the garden hose to rinse with that stuff. Of coarse everything down stream probably died that evening. 
Nothing with my tractors but FOR them, I went on a CL wild goose chase early this morning as there was a guy giving away a set of tires that happen to be the same size as my Deere LT166 takes, just looked at the farm store when I picked up the wife from work, there a set would be $300. I've heard this one run for a few minutes when I brought it home and so far that has been it. I have been trying to decide what to do with it, since I got it. The deck is super nice/ still has all of it's paint and no rot and it actually has an intact hood which is strange to see. But it's tires are completely rotten and have gashes in the sidewalls that put them way beyond tubing.
I had debated pulling the deck, engine and hood and sending the rest across the scale for scrap, but now it can have a new lease on life. It has the style of wheels in the back that we all hate, keyed and a C clip.
Got home and started to pull my ariens deck apart that the yoke retainer bolt either snapped on or just plain fell out, and my wife kept going but wondered why "it sounded funny and just didn't seem to be cutting right". Grrrr
I first thought it tore up both the input shaft and the yoke, and that I'd be swapping gearboxes but whew. The yoke bore took the brunt of the damage. So I still have a good spare gearbox among the 3 machines that can use it.

How do you like left hand chute on those. My Simplicity 7117H has it on the left also. It took me awhile to get use to that especially around my wife’s flower beds. That thing could really grass mulch her flowers quick.
The 3 MF's got to go outside and enjoy the wonderful weather today! No work, just lounging in the sun! I think this is the first time I ever got a "posed" picture of all 3 of them. Still didn't get time to pressure wash them unfortunately.

There is just something about the MF that separate them from others especially the MF12. Did you post your repower on that one. I have a 12H that I took apart sandblasted and primered. It’s been boxed up for about eight years. The engine was smoking bad. The only repairs I need to do on it is weld around the light area on the hood. My wife loves this tractor and I really need to make it a priority for her.
I rebuilt my lift cylinder on my White 1855 the other day. I finally put it back on today and so far all is well. I also took my lift cradle for the deck off since I don’t have a deck for this. One of the hangers for that had a pin with a cotter pin. The same person that put a cotter pin in the lift cylinder must have put one on the hangar. The things looked like a pretzel with very little room to get them off.
MF 12 loader tractor and I did a little tree trimming which is needed and some of it needed because some dead wood and some for snow removal. Some so it’s easier to throw snow into the woods with a few less branches and so I don’t catch the lights on the cab of the Ford tractor.
Loader sure makes it easier to cut up those limbs. Only did a little today. Lots more to do and much bigger. Some of the trees are 6” to 8” diameter. If I could only find the energy.

I have done it yet but maybe the last grass cutting will be this week. It's getting to be maybe a near thing.
Same here was trying not to but it’s just too high. I’ll cut it tomorrow. I’m leaving the fields go a little high the deer will appreciate that when the snow falls.
