What did you do with your tractor today?

Never had a fender control hydro. Had a couple fender control variable speed clutch belt system. Both of mine are hand control next to the steering wheel on the right side. Rest my wrist on my knee and can ease the hydro up or down as needed. All in what we get used to. Run one into a tree before I figured out right hand dummy, right hand.
I cut grass for the second time Saturday. I used the 149 this time. It is growing fast and almost needs to be done again already. I’ll probably cut it again tomorrow or Wednesday. 
It’s terrible. I cut mine Friday and I could cut again today. I’m off today and of course it’s raining..
I could like one like that as well as foot control Rog, but I still can't really like the fender control ones.

My ankles are stiff and don't like the bending is the main reason I don't like Carolyns unit. Possibly a single pedal would work good. I go my 1862 out yesterday for the first time. Squirt of gas in the carb and it fired right off. Mowed the front yard then it developed an issue. going up hill it would stall out. Not enough fuel in the bottom of the filter. Going to change the filter first as it is the easiest. If that don't fix it will put on an electric fuel pump. Haven't messed with rebuilding vacuum fuel pumps for several years. Low pressure electric work so much better and are cheeper than the kits.
My Fords are single pedal foot control hydros. My Massey Fergusons hydros are a long rod up be side the engine bonnet, right side. My John Deere hydro is the same as the Massey Fergusons. My Case tractors are hydraulic drive, and the lever for forward and reverse is on the dash, left side of the steering wheel.

They put them all over the place. Had one JD long enough to fix it up a bit and sold it. Son had a couple Massey's but I never owned one. Had a few cheaper MTD models, JD 3 wheel; front deck which I really liked except for the lack of traction, even with weights and the tires full of washer fluid. Bought this 1862 cub at a farm auction 5 or 6 years ago mainly for the 60" deck and power steering.
Use to laugh about power steering on little tractors..You would have to mention the power steering Roger.

Don't laugh anymore...wish mine had it....especially my Yanmar with the loader...
Wouldn't buy another loader tractor without it.
