Working the Gravely

One side of the disc is tight and the other side is loose. Plans are to drill out the lower pins and put longer ones on. Then it should just so work. Little Sears 3pt,

Those haven't been used for a season or so! Should give you guys some enjoyment when they are ready to work! Does the disk have zerks for the shafts?

There are grease zerks
I think it has been about 20 years sitting, since I was a lad playing with them. I was fairly sure they would look like this when we got them.

Setting the tractor and plow up can be simple. Then it's minor tweeks to make it work right. olcowhand has an article over yonder about it! I took that one step further and posted a thread about how to set one up.

Tinkered with the weight set today. I had a set of 30's on before. On the inside of that I put a 5 pounder which nicely sat on a lip of the 30. And a 10 on the outside bolted thru the 30 to the 5.

The 45 pounder is almost too big.

Ended up with approximately 55 pounds bolted together. Then there is a pair of 25's and 45's. Going to try plowing with the 25's on first and see how that goes.

Tried out the weights tonight with the plow. It should be really close to what I will need. I had the 25's on and there was enough traction to work it.
