Putting together another commercial 21" bobcat walk behind. These have the chute out the back, angled to the left. (No the clippings don't beat up your feet) This one also is labeled "Ransomes" besides Bob-Cat. These things have aluminum decks with greseable ball bearings wheels. They push so easy. I need to either find or make another discharge chute or else find a catcher basket for one. I have 4 of these, 2 are totally in pieces all blasted etch primed and ready to paint. The one I'm putting together has a brand new engine on it the wheels are cracked and busted up, the guy gave up because he couldn't find wheels for it. (They're available but without some digging they ain't cheap). This will give me 2 up n running for the season. I still have to go up to the mother in law's and maintain her yard. I usually take one of these plus my 32" commercial walk behind bobcat.
I gotta put new wood on my trailer this year and hope to paint it while it's bare. I'm waiting to do that to also paint my other 2 of these mower bases. They don't make anything like this no more. Unfortunately.
Basically you ain't got no choice these days but to rebuild an old mower like these as opposed to the absolute crap that barely passes for a mower these days.... And that's before you even consider the "highway robbery" involved for pure crap
I can't be the only one tired of overpriced crap.
The only OTHER choice is to see what my one coworker wants for a couple of goats
