It is almost desert out here. In most places they could sit right on the ground, with no issues. Best to support them somehow though. I sure want one!

On a road trip in Ohio. .
Since John died (owner of farm where I store the junk I don't have room for at home) the family has been cleaning up the property, it looks like they are gonna extend the farm field across what (used to be? ) his front yard, they have an excavator out there taking down all the trees. And a huge burn pile. Though they told me "no worries" I know I have to get rid of my extra stuff. Before it becomes a worry.
I have a lot of parts from 2 parts campers I gutted like my previous camper I really don't want to throw away, as one of my buddies has been asking me about what parts I do have left over the past couple of off seasons, as it seems like everyone calls him about where to find various parts, never me. He then calls me to see what I have....
And I'm onto a truck project// a couple of months ago I happened across a few parts via marketplace that are tough to get, and they happened to be in the same town as one of my camping buddies. He went and bought them for me, and brought them to his house. So I finally got a weekend to be able to make a run out here and get my Bell housing and flywheel. He didn't know I was bringing a pickup load to leave here.
As it turns out I left with a pickup load for the ride back. He had gutted a different camper to make a utility trailer out of, a little bigger than our apache's. He saved all the bed cushions from it that will fit my current camper, plus the rooftop ac unit out of it. And a HF pressure sandblaster. Those I think I can sell off easier than parts for a camper not made since the very early 80s... Head back tomorrow in what sounds like will be a wet ride back.

I hear you on a camper. I once owned an early 1980s camper. Restored it in 2004 with plumbing upgrades and a modern fridge. I broke even when I sold it. Yet for about 10 years we enjoyed camping around the country and went on many manufacturing food plant tours and amusement parks. Then a few fishing trip outings. Those were fun times.

I had spent the last 2-days plowing compost in the fields. So the Yanmar is a bit dusty. Had to do this before he Spring rains hit today. So excuse the look of a working tractor please.

Our stable riding shed we ordered from the Amish builders is our goat milking room with stainless counters and heavy milk stands. We've had no critters living under it and the site still sits perfect level since the day it was placed.

When mine arrives, it would be on a foundation like this.

I've seen others who own a HF cement mixer or rent one from Menards to pour a foundation like this.

Would cost twice the container cost to buy the rock, have it hauled, form it up not to mention all the labor. Took me 2 days to recover from doing it with blocks. The first one we got in 2022 settled about 1.5" the first year. After that no more movement. Sitting on a lot flatter ground though.
