Yea Chris has a very good point as far as running the correct tire sizes that they recommend. Not only bind things up but break things up..if running in 4wd that is.

Your probably ok using those tires in the snow but it would be a lot better for the drivetrain to get the correct size on there again. Odd sized tires tend to bind things up.
I like those old Polaris quads. They were good machines and there seems to still be quite a few of them around.

Thanks guys, I never thought about different size tires binding things up. I am planning on getting a new set of the correct size tires for it very soon. I wanted to use it a bit first and make sure I had all of the mechanical issues fixed before I spend the money on tires. I looked at the tires again and they are actually the same size as the originals, although I think they look taller. I know sometimes sizes can vary by manufacturer. I’ll be careful with it and avoid using the 4WD until I get the new tires just to be safe.
