4getgto's Auctions finds..

I would hang on to that pipe vise too! Many uses not plumbing related. The scroll saw looks brand new.

What is that golfing thing, Bill? A cast iron mechanical bank?

DAC
Yea some kind of bank.
There's button you push down to make the guys move and a slot opens to drop a coin..
And the scroll saw is like new. Kind of wish I needed one..

Pick you up a book on fret word or scroll saw work. This winter get a 1/2 sheet of 1/4"birch plywood and have fun cutting out all sorts of nice wall hangings. Start small and work your way up to this: Took one full winter to cut this out and glue it together. Lot of individual pieses had to be cut exactly the same size in order to fit in place properly.

Use to live next to an older guy that was big into antique cars and such and he’d make automobile script using a scroll saw that they would attach to their grills. Made them out of brass, aluminum and copper. Really detailed work . Often admired. Did a couple for me but just my initials out of aluminum.

Couple more things I picked up in the last week or so .
Old Craftsman push mower. 69-70 dollar mowers go quick so this won’t stay long.

I also picked up another Troy Bilt pressure washer. Had one just like this a while ago. 3100 psi and has the idle down feature on it which I’m liking. Also has an up graded 30’ hose .

Then I got this…

It’s a 2006 Yamaha Vino 50 scooter. Long story on this so I’ll let that go now.
But it is fun. Just don’t know what I’m doing with it yet.

Bring that scooter up to the Sturgis Rally and be a bad@$$ biker, Bill! After all it is black and even has orange lenses---LOL! Looks like you have a well fed shop cat.

Yep going to ride with the big boys now.
And yea I got 4 ( very) well feed shop cats. But will say we don’t have mice around…..or voles or chipmunks or moles or rabbits or…….and the bird feeders are well watched too !

Little scooters are handy. My dad has a Chinese 150 he bought 15 years ago. He rode it work every day for a long time during the riding season. Odometer never quite worked but I bet it has 15,000 miles on it. He still rides it into town to run errands. It’s not very fast but it will get you there eventually.

I wouldn't mind that pressure washer and the idle down feature sounds like a good one.
That idle down is nice Chris. The newer ones don't seem to have any on for whatever their reasons.
Especially nice let off the trigger and goes to idle and don't have listen to a motor running full bore all the while..
I'm guessing they had issues with this working all time ? I know they use a "special" kind of pump with additional ports for the unloader which is twice the price of a regular pump..the pump out weighs the cost of repairing them.

This one is a little funny in that it is so small. I did bury the speedometer at 40mph... ;)
But it is nice, in very good condition and only had 110 miles on the clock. Had to go aftermarket (Chinese) carburetor though as I could get the original one cleaned well enough to keep it running. And new ones are nonexistent.
But is cute and as would DAC would say its a mobility scooter..

Mobility scooters rule, Bill! Cool you are using it too!

I forgot to reply to this one earlier, Bill! Our 14 year old house cat made an escape over a year ago and we sighted her on the security cameras a couple times but eventually stopped showing up. There is a couple of feral cats the neighbor lady next door feeds and one of them is older than the one that ran away. No rodents, but the rabbits are pretty numerous around here. I was able to count 5 when I went out to get the mail the other day. Don't have a garden so they don't irritate me. Doves on the other hand p!$$ me off---LOL!
