What no paint? The fittings arrived this morning. Installed them and topped the fluid tank. Guess it's ready to go home.

Too late! Owner hauled it away already. I'm happy with the compensation I received. You oughta come up with some "issues" to be worked through so you can play with it a while!
Hey Chris great story I aslo bought one of the generators 40+ years ago my brother set it up with an engine he had and used it as a welded some but then let it sit out in the woods for 20/25 years I got the generator from him about 5 years ago with the intention of getting going again but when I got into it the mice had gotten into it and pretty much ruined it and I lost interest. I remember welding with one that my Dad borrowed from a friend of his it was mounted on a 2 wheel trailer and had a 540 PTO drive set upGary I actually built a portable welder with two of those generators. At first I used one of their 200 amp generators and then moved up to a 400 amp generator powered by a 1955 Chev. 235 six cylinder. The family that I sold it to in 1978 still has it.
This was a fun thread to follow, Kenny! Happy customers are a good feeling! Thanks for giving us the story and pictures along the way!Too late! Owner hauled it away already. I'm happy with the compensation I received.
