Debating on stripping it down and paint frame and all or just the fenders. I don't know with all the other work to do on it if I can finish it all if I strip it down before October's tractor show.

Might as well strip it down and do it right rather than regret it later. Just my 2 cents

I have not but have seen a few done that I was not overly impressed with.
I think little time and effort a nice one could be done. Most of them I’ve seen have been put over the old plastic piece .

I only want to make one as a temporary solution I'm still hoping to find one before the first of October

Mine did not originally but it does now. I had a few of the needed parts squirreled away and found the rest on E-Bay before the prices blew up.

One on there now for 50 bucks. Not too bad. That's around what I paid for one a few years ago.

A head light panel for $50 a great deal even if its the wrong year needs to be bought and squirreled awAy in the “I’ll.need it someday” pile.

I got the belts in today but it will be next weekend before I can start on it since I got to have help moving them around

There is a noise at low idle I think might be coming from the valves. Might be worried over nothing because if I remember right Brian said it was rebuilt when he got it.

I was told that it had just been gone thru when I bought it and I never finished it or ran it. Maybe the valves need adjusting, he may have not set them correctly.
