John Deere 110

I was told that it had just been gone thru when I bought it and I never finished it or ran it. Maybe the valves need adjusting, he may have not set them correctly.

I don't remember it making the noise last year so maybe they are making noise from sitting for the last nine months.

Who redid the engine got the valve spec mixed up they got intake at 0.12 and exhaust at 0.05 . I also found the head gasket was blown so it probably has a warp head if it not too bad I can use sandpaper and glass to fix it. I also dropped a bolt down in the blower housing so I got to pull the engine off to get it out. Probably will replace the head bolts while I'm at it.

I need to fix the steering too. Have to move the steering wheel alot before it starts turning. Here is a couple picture from today in the valve picture you can look and tell it way too much clearance

Dads old 110 had terrible steering. We put a spinner on the steering wheel. Made a huge difference. But still steered like crap. He adjusted it and did all kinds of stuff

I just remembered I did pull the cylinder off it so the hose are open and it rained (sprinkle) earlier. I need to pull it tomorrow and bring it inside.

I got the new points cover and gasket in. I hope to order some more gaskets this week also I found a sleeve hitch I plan on going to get.

That wheel is different from what my 112 has, but that doesn't mean a lot.

I think it a wheel off a riding mower. I'm going to take the one off the sidetag for now.

It will be a little over $1,000 after paint , hood hardware and decals. But it has been a fun project.

My sister's boyfriend lost that job we had today so no money for paint. At this time I'm going to put it all back together until after the Temple show
