John Deere AN project

When I bought this tractor the PO had some paper work on it and one receipt was for a carb kit. I looked it over some today and found the bowl nut loose. I pulled it and it looks like a little light rust inside. I does look like it has new gaskets and float valve, but I better pull it and check it over.

After checking out the clutch fork assy I found excessive wear on the shaft and pulley brake arm. I'm going to build up the shaft with the wire feed and turn it back to the proper size. The arm and housing will get bored and bushed back to size.

Cleaning parts has been the order of the day. Pressure washed the flywheel then Boiled the flywheel seal/spacer cover and belt pulley guard to get the caked grease and dirt off. Had to spray the cover since all of the paint came off. I installed the first reduction gear on the splined shaft so its ready for the cover and outer bearing.
