I may have an Ariens S16 available soon, waiting on my kid to decide if he wants it or not.... lots of recent work done to it, most of the typical "bugs" have been worked out.... and youre in Illinois? me too....

Ive always wanted a 16 K mated to a manual trans but Im not sure if any brand ever made such a thing... at least none that Ive seen so far. What you want is a mid-70's Wheel Horse C-160. Arguably the best tractor they ever made.
The tube lift parts can be found. I put a lift on my 7112. I had seen another one on CL but was clear across the state so I didn't get it.Well that's way out of my price range anyway, tho id love to have it. Looks pretty well restored tho.
How hard is it to add a lift to the back of a tractor like the 7117?
I see that there are both electric and hydro kits. And I did a little reading and it seems you can add a hydro to the 7117 with modification.??
I have awelder, I'll probably just end up making something
