Well that's way out of my price range anyway, tho id love to have it. Looks pretty well restored tho.

How hard is it to add a lift to the back of a tractor like the 7117?

I see that there are both electric and hydro kits. And I did a little reading and it seems you can add a hydro to the 7117 with modification.??

I have awelder, I'll probably just end up making something

Ive always wanted a 16 K mated to a manual trans but Im not sure if any brand ever made such a thing... at least none that Ive seen so far. What you want is a mid-70's Wheel Horse C-160. Arguably the best tractor they ever made.

I believe that AC/Simplicity made 6 speeds with a 16 horse engine in the 7000 series.

The tube lift parts can be found. I put a lift on my 7112. I had seen another one on CL but was clear across the state so I didn't get it.

What do you guys think of this..00b0b_gECweC9eHkp_600x450.jpg00E0E_blWHqyKbjPq_600x450.jpg

Add says

Simplicity 3410H Landlord garden tractor. It has a 10hp Briggs and Stratton cast-iron engine. It has a hydrostatic transmission. It comes with a 42" mower deck. I also have the correct "pod-light" headlights and harness included. Being over 50 years old it will need some TLC but here are some things I have done to it over the last few years as I have worked on it on and off:

Removed the hydro pump, cleaned, bushed the pintle shafts, installed new hoses, new fluid and filter.
New hydro drive belt.
New primary and secondary mower deck belts.
New spindle bearings in two of the three deck spindles.
New blades on the deck with less than two hours of use.
Adjusted the PTO and Neutral safety switches.
New starter solenoid.
New bearings and brushes in the starter generator.
New cylinder head gasket.
Cleaned carb.
Cleaned and adjusted points.
New tubes in the front tires (2019)
Front wheel bearings cleaned and repacked (2019)
Engine removed and debris cleaned out.
Front crankshaft seal repalced.
Installed a good used correct OEM muffler.
And more.

Tractor has come a long way but still has a few little issues. It starts and runs well. Have some extra parts that will come with it.00b0b_gECweC9eHkp_600x450.jpg00E0E_blWHqyKbjPq_600x450.jpg00N0N_h5xAdHQevbU_600x450.jpg00404_dy87HzEKYJO_600x450.jpg00909_3CEO79dGD3x_600x450.jpg00k0k_A79Q4FXr2l_600x450.jpg00W0W_6c8T7LaIqwm_600x450.jpg

You could make a set of tracks for it. That would give you the traction you need.

I will if the guy will respond. What the heck is wrong with people these days? If I had something for sale and people emailed me I would email them back within a few hours. This is the fourth tractor I've contacted somebody on and not heard anything back, and the adds are still up. Makes no sense

He might be working during the day. Might be why they didn't post their phone number.

I may have an Ariens S16 available soon, waiting on my kid to decide if he wants it or not.... lots of recent work done to it, most of the typical "bugs" have been worked out.... and youre in Illinois? me too....
My grass is gettin tall and i dont wanna push mow it again lol.... where in Illinois are ya? Im in fairview heights/caseyville area

That Simplicity looks good to me. Obviously by my username it is not hard to tell what I like. LOL!!! However I am not opposed to other brands, in fact I have owned some Massey Ferguson GT's in the past. I would never be afraid of a hydro drive machine. The TRUE "ground engaging" capable GT's of the 60's through the 80's will last a long time to the future. Many of them doing hard work still years after they were made and doing it well. I have a 107 Cub Cadet that has been my main workhorse for many years and it just keeps on going. From plowing garden to mowing grass to blowing snow the older GT's WILL get er' dun!
