NTM Case 224

Put it in low range Kenny. Hehe. Just foolin with ya.

I’ve seen talk about the little tie rod ball joint things, where they are bad. So when you move the lever, it dosent move the valve. Makes the tractor jerk ahead or back.

I checked that yesterday. Spool is moving the same amount each direction. What I don't know is if the linkage is possibly out of ajustment, thus the spool is not centered when in neutral. But it doesn't creep.

Just finished reading a few post about, to fast in reverse. A few said that they changed the fluid and that fixed the problem. That seems kinda strange, but that what was said.

That seems odd. I was looking through Surplus Center and have found a valve that is capable of 10GPM with open center. Single spool is about $70. 2 spool is$115+/-. May have to just install one in the return line from the original valve to have hydraulic lift on this thing.

The little I've driven the 222 low range semes about right forward and reverse, I sure noticed it was a lot faster in Hi-range forward never tried reverse as that's when it decided shut off, I do have a deck for it haven't checked it out yet, have to say I do like driving this 222 it steers nice and is a nice sized tractor

Went to work in the front this time. Making a front weight bracket in anticipation of finding a lift valve that will work. Made a bracket to fit existing structure.
