That's for sure. The one I made is adjustable for now, just in case I need to move it some in any direction.

Worked on the winch mount some more today. Here I'm getting the lower support aligned.
Test fit on the tractor.
Adding bracing. A sea of clamps to weld around.
Without clamps and welded.
Misjudged the winch location, so I'll have to raise the grille a 1/4". OOPS!

May have to forgo the winch for front weights!Sounds like you'll need the winch just to hold the front end down.

Those rear tires you have are what we used on the Ford lgt pulling tractor after my brother cut the crap out of them , but they won him at least 4 or 5 titles!
Anyways those Sears/Roper tractors can really pull! But they are very tricky to balance with weight! As you found out lol.

It doesn't help thst I put 24 x 12's and a 5" pulley on it!
