Between rain and lightning, I got Diana's trees trimmed up where branches don't try to take out eyes and pull off hats when mowing---LOL!
Used the electric pole saw. It is a workout with the humidity it didn't take long to start sweating even though it wasn't real hot.
Threw branches into our son's old beater on our side of the fence. He leaves it here as he has no where to park it at his apartment. I use it for a dump runner.
Got where I can walk around under them without hitting my head so called it good. There were 2 other trees a little smaller than the one in the pic that needed it too.
Used the saw without the extension on my side of the fence, along with pruning shears to chop things into smaller pieces to get it to lay down in the truck better. Started raining and thundering again so went in the shop for awhile. Didn't last long so did the same thing to a cottonwood in our back yard.
After chopping everything up the pile is pretty level with the box to tarp and haul to the dump. That will be later in the week though. Still need to do the same thing to trees in the front yard.
When I was getting done, this '54 Chevy pickup cruised down the road in front of the house. Couldn't get a good pic but I think that truck was at that car show we were at a couple weeks ago. It definitely still has an I-6 in it! Sounded nice!
Soon as I put the tools away it started raining again. That's enough for today!
