What did you do with your tractor today?

This morning I loaded up my Bolens G152 and delivered it to it’s new owner.

My trailer is way too small, and the new owner doesn’t have a trailer. I borrowed my neighbor’s 16’ car trailer. Snowblower in the back of the truck. Threw the folks on the loader and set the mower deck on the trailer, rolled it to the front. Then ran the Bolens up with the Sweepster held above the mower deck and the tiller on the rear. Left it running for the 10 mile journey. Got back home, threw the receiver plate back on to put the trailer back. He has three, and this one goes in back. Having the plate on the loader makes quick work of that.

It’s been snowing since 7 am, if I’m lucky we’ll get enough to go play some more. I dropped the loader and threw the blower back on just in case. Loader to blower now takes 15 minutes. 5 of that is the loader is in the shed and the blower is in the garage. I am really happy with this tractor.

I brought the walk behind up to the garage this morning, just in case. Stubborn thing didn't want to start. Shot of starting fluid took care of that but now the throttle don't work. Either wide open of off. Just what I wanted, a project in a non heated shop.

I'm with Roger too! I did fix the lights on the MF8E a couple years ago when I did a bunch of work on it, but it will have to be a grave emergency to plow at night! If we can't drive through it to get to work, we call in and either stay home or be late.

I used the MF12H to clean out the driveway to be able to get out for work this afternoon. 7-8"s of snow and where the plow pushed it was knee deep. The tractor and blower had no issues, sorry no pictures.

You got twice as much snow as we did, Ted! Glad the MF12H did the job well.

446 Case is ready for tonite’s snow storm. I’m sure MFDAC, Doug will like these pictures and possibly Jason Silliker. Put some runner shoes on the thrower, I think the old ones were worn out. And put the chains on rear tires. Checked out the brake pedal trouble. Working now but needs a new brake lining. Clear coated the chute and auger paddles. Checked other stuff too. We think it’s ready for snow. Will see tomorrow, I sure there will be some sort of break down.

Ferguson tractor and V pull behind snow blower was checked over too. It might get a try too tomorrow.
