What are you currently working on??

12 or 14 stranded is heavy enough for most everything except the starting circuit. #8 from Batt. to the relay, & relay to starter would be plenty. Don't forget the fuses !

For the starter circuit that should be plenty as long as all connections are good and you use new wire that you know isn't corroded under the insulation, for most everything else I use 14 ga. The wires coming off the stator are probably only like 16-18 if it's only giving you 3A

I bought one of the graco lt17 paint sprayers. Took longer to move all the junk. I sprayed each room in about 20 minutes.

If you were closer I'd let you use the sprayer. Dad is going to do his next weekend. Then after that the sprayer will probably grow roots in the corner.

I was just joking, would take me days to clean out basement enough to be able to paint walls LOL. I have 2 different paint sprayers that have a small separate air pump with a long hose. I don't like painting water base with the one, have to thin paint down way to thin. My other one is designated for when I start plastidipping my vehicles.

Cleaned the carb on a Honda GXV 390 I have, of course I tore one of the tiny Orings which I don't have replacement.
Also spread a little bondo in Purple Sears dash to get it ready for build primer.

What I worked on today. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I never even went any where, but to the garage. And did nothing there. A buddy came in for a chat while I was in the garage, doing nothing. Had a cup of coffee and part of a chocolate bar. He has his own truck and trailer repair shop, so he will still have work for a while yet.

Any way, have a good up coming week.

Home gym is complete. Installed new lights, rubber matting on the floor, and everything cleaned.

Bowflex xtreme se 2, and the tread mill is in the basement. Put a 42" tv on the wall to watch awhile working out.

Did my first real weight training session too. A little sore! Took it easy too. Low resistance and low reps.

Sanded the bondo off the dash, ready for primer.
I also used a heavy wire wheel and started stripping paint off the Sears hood, this process sucks, but gotta be done. Need to get everything ready for paint so when it gets warmer, I can get it done.

Had some productivity today since the weather was great! First thing this morning seen the first critter of the year that i don't want to exterminate! Caught him taking a nap in the morning sun!

Snow is gone and it was pretty obvious where voles had wintered. They need to DIE! They will probably move to the neighbors yard to the west as they only mow a couple times a year.

No more pics, but went to Runnings Farm and Fleet and got the paint, reducer and hardener for a new paint job on the outer side of the MF610 mower deck that is under a rebuild. Then I had to rake leaves out of the drainage ditch out front to clear the culverts from leaves dropped off our cottonwood trees. I do the lady's culvert to the east also since she is downstream from our trees.

Then I drug the extension ladder around the shop and changed out some 4' flourescent bulbs that had burned out over the winter. Think I replaced 10.

Then I was able to straighten some dents in the mower deck and welded a couple of oblonged holes on the anti-scalp roller bracket. I ran out of .035 wire so had to use .023. That's a pain so other damage and cracks are going to wait until I can get into town and get some .035. 3 fairly large cracks on the right side of the deck where the deck roller attaches. I had welded up similar cracks on the discharge side a couple of years ago.

Like Marty, it's also time to hit both sides of the deck with heavy wire wheels too. Didn't get to that today.

Working Remote so I could help my Wife with her plants. Moved some heavy blocks to set the tomato plants on, She did the rest of the planting.

Started the day cleaning more stuff out of the freezer we are defrosting. Yard was still to wet for tractor traffic so picked up some of the limbs the blew down - again. Washed out the CV joint with gas on the Ranger. Filled with grease adn put it all back together. Put up Electric fence around a clump of trees to keep the goats out. And that was enough for a day for an old man.
