And more junk.

Sounds like you got a run away cat looking for greener pastures. I would be canceling the reward money. I wonder why like Chris mentioned she isn’t hanging around your door wanting in. Is she in heat, maybe hanging out with a stud somewhere. That usually only happens for a few days though.

I guess she is liking her "Walk on the Wild Side"---LOL! She was spayed over 10 years ago so at least if she comes back we won't have to get rid of a litter of kittens. The reward money isn't mine to cancel, Jim. Our daughter and her boyfriend put up the money. All I did was make the sign at her request. There is an orange male I call "Trump" hanging around too. He is feral but the next door lady feeds him. He has gotten food out of the trap without tripping it. He slides the bowl down to the bottom so he doesn't have to step any further.

Our cat was around again last night about 4am. Put the trap out front on her turf now so maybe she might get caught.

Was on the run all day in town. Now Loree is driving the Denali until her car gets out of the body shop.

I managed to catch Trump in the act of stealing food today---LOL! He wasn't so wise this time! I put the food bowel in one of those HF magnetic parts trays so it couldn't be slid down off the mechanism.

He was pardoned for his crime and hopefully had his fill of jail time!

I have been driving the '72 GMC this week since Loree has the Denali. The RF tire has been going down so I backed it into the shop and pulled the wheel. Checked it with soapy water and it is shot. Sidewall leaks. Going to have to look for some tires soon. I had a spare but still want to match them all up again. One tire don't match the rest. Can get away with some mismatching on an old 2wd pickup for awhile. Looks like I can order a set for just under 400 bucks. Now it would be nice to still be working at a place that has a nice tire machine, but I retired---LOL!

Erin, our daughter texted me this morning about what she saw reviewing the security camera videos. Nothing with her cat, but she saw rabbits and the damm deer are back in the yard! Eating some of the green grass on the drain field! They were visible from about 12:15 am to 1 am. Went out and sprayed the 4 small pine trees (about 7' tall now) with deer repellant. Last year those damm things ate 2 of the trees! I managed to figure out how to watch some of that video, and sure enough there were at least two deer. When I went out to spray, there was enough fresh piles of deer$h!t that it could have been more. I better go buy a couple more gallons!

Did you bring your cat back inside did she do okay to be back home. Thanks for the idea with the magnetic food tray. I use a jar lid with peanut butter and marshmallows to bait my raccoon trap. I screwed the jar lid to the floor and have to spread the bait with a spoon or my finger, makes a big mess. Using your idea I can bait it in the house and just set it inside.

We have had good luck with our home-made deer repellant. Called Sorry Deer. Will last for couple weeks unless we get rain or a wet snow. Cheap to make also.

1 - Egg
½ - cup milk
1 - tbl. cooking oil
1 - tbl dish soap
1 - gal water.

We still haven't caught our cat. Been catching the rest of the neighborhood cats, but not ours. She just shows up on the videos now and then. Glad I posted something that may be of help, Jim!

Sounds like it might be worth a try, Roger, Thanks!

Shoot yourself a Coyote and put part of it in each tree. End of problem.
Don't think I need rotting flesh hanging in trees 30 feet from the house Chris---LOL!

Got some shop time today! Felt good. Helped Loree do some arranging for Christmas, since our daughter will be here some time tomorrow. Had to get the spare room ready. It becomes a catch all.

Ran the '72 GMC out to tinker with the windmill again! Think I have things straightened out enough to prep it for paint.

The platform straightened out better than I expected. Was hoping that I wouldn't have to cut the bolts to work on it!

Then it was time to try to straighten out the bent and twisted parts of the tower. Thankfully the leds didn't get bent.

That should be ok for what it is. Decided the weather head pivot needed a grease zirk. Drilled and tapped it for a 1/4-28 fitting and used a 90* one.

Drilled it out with a 1/2" drill bit and the weather head slid right in and swivels nice.

Then I did 50 pages of scanning for the Black Hills Speedway Hall of Fame FB page. That's about half way.

Was nice to do stuff not Christmas or cat related---LOL!

Thanks, Guys! Didn't do much in the shop today. Erin got here and brought a bag of old security cameras that they had. I installed 3 more. Finished the scanning and got that on FB. Stuffed my face with supper so now I'm trying to stay awake---LOL!

Why waste the energy. Go to sleep and enjoy it.
It was too early Chris! I would have woke up at 2 am---LOL! Did you get a lot of s-word?

Haven't been on for a few days due to Christmas activities. Lots of Loree's relatives in town. The storm was kind of bad but power stayed on and it is warming back up. The wind was the worst part of it. 3 days of 30-40 mph steady and gusts over 55 mph. Weather Channel said we got 12-18" but I don't think it was that much. Of course with that wind it's possible it just kept blowing away. We did have some drifts for sure.

Yesterday right in the middle of the almost blizzard we drove to Hot Springs, SD to be with Loree's Mom and step dad along with a lot of relatives that rarely get together. The drive sucked going there, but better coming home. Our daughter did a photograph session. Both of Loree's sisters were there along with all of their kids, and grand kids as well as the only great grandson, so we did get the pics taken, and stuffed our faces of course!

Had a doc appt. this morning, went to the $h!t plant and bought eggs from a former co-worker, and caught up on all the plant gossip, then came home. Grabbed lunch and started plowing.

Here is before the storm and after. Shop security camera.

Opened the shop door and there was a small drift right in front of the west side of it. There had already been considerable melting.

Fired up the MF8E and started plowing. The drifts had packed pretty tight so the tractor did ride up on them some. It's not a super heavy machine and the blade floats. Still did a nice job though. Here's some "action" pics---LOL!

Tractor work was done, then time for the back patio. Have to do that with the walk behind snow blower.

I didn't expect that little blower to do too good of a job but it did just fine.

The s-word removal crew at rest---LOL!

The security cameras can do video, but I don't know how to put them on this site. Never did videos any further than just saving a few brief ones on the PC.

Hopefully it will be back to fall like weather again for awhile!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

I tried putting video on quite some time back. Had to have a You Tube account, jump through a dozen or so hoops to get the video posted there, then get this site to retrieve it from YouTube. Figured it was a lot more trouble than it was worth so never tried again. I may have left a step or two out or even added one or two, don't remember for sure now.

Sounds like more hoops than I want to jump through too Roger. I watch some stuff on youtube but have never signed up for it. Probably should, our daughter's business has videos on there. I can watch them but can't comment or like. She might prefer I don't comment---LOL!

I do very, very little on You Tube. Trying to find what I want I usually get a dozen pages on irrelevant stuff. When I do find what I am after it is by some joker that is just trying to make a nickel making videos.
